CoolCurve helps food trucks, caterers, and independent kitchens run the FDA two-stage cooling process, keep cold- and hot-holding temperature logs, and produce inspector-ready records — all on your device.
How does the cooling timer work?
When hot food drops below 135°F, start a cooling batch. CoolCurve runs the two FDA deadlines for you: it must reach 70°F within 2 hours, then 41°F within 6 hours total. You'll get a Lock Screen countdown and warnings before each deadline. Log a temperature and CoolCurve advances the stage or, if a deadline is missed, walks you through reheating to 165°F or discarding.
What is the 4-hour clock?
That's Time as a Public Health Control (TPHC) — for food held without temperature control. CoolCurve counts down the 4-hour limit and reminds you to use or discard before it runs out.
What's free and what's in CoolCurve Pro?
Everything you record is always free to keep and export. The free version includes one site, up to two storage units, one active cooling batch at a time, unlimited temperature checks, full history, and PDF export. CoolCurve Pro unlocks unlimited units, unlimited simultaneous cooling batches, and multiple sites or trucks. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription; manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store settings.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings inside CoolCurve and tap Restore Purchases.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device. There are no accounts and no servers. Export a PDF before deleting the app if you want to keep your records.
